Bohelo Seretse

Bohelo Seretse is an Associate Attorney and head of the firm's Litigation Department. Admitted to practice in Botswana in 2023, she has experience in litigation, contract law, corporate and commercial law, conveyancing, and dispute resolution. She is known for her meticulous approach to legal practice, strong work ethic, and ability to deliver practical, client-focused solutions. Bohelo obtained her Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Botswana. During her university studies, she developed a particular interest in English Literature and Critical Thinking- taking them on as electives. Disciplines that sharpened her analytical reasoning, advocacy, and communication skills. From her third year of study, she worked part-time until her completion of studies, in the legal field, gaining practical exposure to contract law, debt collection and construction law while successfully balancing the demands of academia, professional development, and personal commitments. This early exposure to legal practice laid a strong foundation for her transition into her legal profession.

Ms. Seretse has further enhanced her professional qualifications through a Certificate of Proficiency in Short-Term Insurance from the Insurance Institute of South Africa and a Certificate in Trial Advocacy through the Justice Advocacy Africa and Law Society of Botswana Trial Advocacy Programme.

While she enjoys several areas of practice, Bohelo's primary passion lies in contract law, where she is particularly interested in the strategic and commercial considerations involved in drafting, negotiating, and enforcing agreements. She also has a keen interest in property law, conveyancing, and corporate-commercial practice, and intends to further develop her expertise in the real estate sector.

Despite her soaring legal career, Ms. Seretse developed a strong appreciation for community engagement and social-impact initiatives through her brief volunteer work with SRHR Africa Trust (SAT) Botswana. This experience continues to inform her interest in supporting humanitarian organisations such as the Red Cross, whose work advances service, advocacy, and community resilience.

Outside the office, Bohelo enjoys cooking, reading, travelling, gardening, agriculture and content creation. She values continuous learning, meaningful experiences, and opportunities to engage with people from diverse backgrounds, qualities that she brings into her professional practice.
